Privacy Policy
Last updated September 10, 2026
EASE exists so that women living with MS can be seen and understood without having to explain themselves. That starts with how we treat what you tell us. This policy explains what we collect on ease.martihines.com, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by The H Collective ("EASE", "we", "us"). If you have any question about your information, write to information@hcollective.com.
2. What we collect
When you introduce yourself
The introduction form asks for your name, email address and phone number, along with what brings you to EASE, where you are in your MS journey, what would feel most valuable to you, how you would prefer to make your investment, anything that would make attending easier for you, and a sentence in your own words. Some of this is information about your health. We ask for it only so that we can decide whether EASE is the right room for you and, if you join us, care for you well while you are there.
When you sign up for updates
Your email address only.
When you reserve your place
Your name, email address, billing address and the plan you chose.
Your card details go directly to Square, our payment processor, and are never stored by us. If you choose the monthly plan, Square keeps your card on file to take the scheduled payments.
Before the retreat
During your pre-retreat intake we ask about dietary needs, accessibility and mobility needs, travel details and emergency contact information, so that every part of your stay is prepared for your body.
Automatically
Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit, such as your device type, browser, approximate location and the pages you viewed. This comes through cookies and similar tools provided by Wix, which hosts the site. See section 7.
3. How we use it
-
To consider your introduction and, where it is the right fit, to extend an invitation.
-
To prepare your stay, including your room, your meals, your transportation and your personalized wellness plan.
-
To process your payments and send you confirmations, reminders and receipts.
-
To send you updates about EASE if you asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
-
To keep the website working and understand how it is used.
-
To meet our legal obligations and enforce our Guest Policies.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use what you share about your health for advertising.
4. Your health information
What you tell us about living with MS, your mobility, and your dietary and accessibility needs is treated as confidential. It is seen only by the small EASE team who need it to consider your invitation and prepare for you, and it is shared with the resort and our facilitators only to the extent needed to meet the needs you have described. We are not a healthcare provider and this information is not used to give medical advice.
5. Who we share it with
-
Wix, which hosts this website, stores form submissions and sends our emails.
-
Square, which processes payments and holds your card details under its own privacy policy.
-
Four Seasons Resort Maui and our transportation and excursion providers, who receive the details they need to host you, such as your name, arrival information, room preference and any accessibility or dietary needs.
-
Our facilitators and wellness practitioners, who receive only what they need to support you during the retreat.
-
Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.
Each of these receives only what is needed for their part and may not use it for anything else.
6. How long we keep it
If you introduce yourself and are not invited, or choose not to join, we delete your introduction within twelve months. If you attend EASE, we keep your registration and payment records for as long as the law requires, usually seven years, and your intake information until the retreat is over and any follow-up is complete. Email sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Cookies
This website uses cookies set by Wix to keep the site secure, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner when you first visit, and change your choice at any time in your browser settings. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can unsubscribe from updates using the link in any email. If you live in California, you also have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for asking. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising as those terms are defined in California law. To make any request, email information@hcollective.com and we will respond within thirty days.
9. Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Form submissions are stored within Wix, and payments are handled by Square, both of which maintain their own security programs. Access to your information within EASE is limited to the people who need it.
10. Age
EASE is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen, and we will delete it if we learn we have.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change affects how we use what you have already shared, we will tell you by email.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to information@hcollective.com.
